No Text Appearing on Templates

TMPLT is designed to pull metadata from photos and embed them into your images with aesthetic templates. If no text appears on your template, your photo may not contain the metadata TMPLT is looking for.

Solution

To check if your photo has metadata, open it in Apple Photos and tap the info icon (ⓘ) to see what data is available. Photos taken with the iPhone camera typically include location, date, and basic camera info. Photos from dedicated cameras may include more detailed EXIF data like ISO, aperture, and shutter speed.

Where Are My Edited Photos?

Every successful export is saved in the TMPLT Library first. If Save to Photos is on, TMPLT also delivers a copy to Apple Photos. Open the Library tab to find, share, or manage your finished images and sets.

Solution

If an export isn't appearing in Apple Photos, open it in the TMPLT Library and retry Photos delivery. You can also open iOS Settings, select TMPLT, and allow Photos access. Your Library copy remains available even when Photos access is off.
